ERN 2025 in Greece: Thessaloniki (AUTH)
The PICO ERN25 event will take place at the NOESIS Science Center and Technology Museum in Thessaloniki.
From 17:00 onwards, the center will welcome visitors of all ages to an unforgettable evening full of knowledge, discovery, and creativity.
A large number of research groups and student teams from the School of Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki will present experiments and hands-on demonstrations on topics such as Gravitational Waves, Black Hole Physics, Nanotechnology, High-Energy Physics, Space Missions, Environmental Physics, Electronics, Biophysics and many other exciting physics applications. There will also be dedicated activities for young children. During the night, we will observe the night sky using mobile telescopes in front of the NOESIS center.
At 19:00, a special event will take place in the main auditorium of NOESIS, with guest speaker the President of the European Physical Society, Prof. M. Sakellariadou. Attendance to all events is free without prior registration.
