Dimitris Koulentianos

Atomic and Molecular Physics, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, 3rd generation synchrotron radiation facilities

Dimitris Koulentianos holds a BSc in Physics from the Physics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece and an MSc in Physics from Uppsala University, Sweden. His received his Ph.D degree in 2019 for his doctoral thesis entitled “Double-inner shell vacancies in molecules”. His Ph.D was a cotutelle between the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and Sorbonne University in France. Accordingly, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Argonne National Laboratory, Chicago, U.S.A. and the Center for Free Electron Laser (CFEL) Science of DESY, Hamburg, Germany. He has 34 publications in international peer reviewed journals and 293 citations (h-index 10). In May of 2023 he joined the R&D Department of Ellinogermaniki Agogi and participates in EU funded projects which aim to integrate the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the educational processes.
